just pm alfatuner and he can tell you all about the remapping process.
And I can tell the difference.....it is more responsive pulls like a train on steroids revs quicker it takes off when you hit 3500 (a lot smoother to that rev range anyway.)

Fantastic Service

I need to say what a fantastic service I have just received from Alfatuner.
He has replaced my ecu chip with a remapped one.....what a difference!!!!!
The car just wants to go and go.
He `(Alfatuner) explained everything he was going to do what the new map would do. Well happy.

He also replaced my exhaust cat back with a custom stainless one.
He did tell me the name of the make but I have forgotten sorry( to busy trying to speed down the M6 !!).
Again fantastic noise plus I have my burble back when it revs down.
Coupled with the remap. The car is just reborn.

Right I've had mine mapped By Gus at Alfatune and I'm a very happy customer

I got to know Gus before I even let him any where near my car and I don't confess to be a techy in the mapping department nor would I personally endorse any product I'm not truly happy with.

I'm not interested in quoting bhp figures I told Gus what I would like and he took time and gave me exactly what I wanted performance wise and he has told me there's room for more improvement with the fitting of a Q2.

Somebody earlier said you get what you pay for and I chose to spend my ££££ on a custom map done by Gus I'd sooner have the overall package done by Gus as he's proven his Talents with his racing car background and he has the skill and facilities to deliver the whole package suspension, brakes, gearing and diffs and mapping.

Hopefully by the time we've finished with my GT it will be a monster and I'm not going to wave my dick quoting BHP figures that will be done by the way my GT performs

Just a couple more points about the Map Gus has done for me

The car is much quieter, less smokey, very smooth fast acceleration in 2nd 3rd and 4th gear the whole car feels like it has better acceleration in every gear

It now goes like stink from a standing start My Mrs who is not a petrol head exclaimed this morning when I was driving her to the station

"Bloody Hell has he put a new engine in this"

I've had my 1.9JTD re-mapped by Gus recently-The power delivery is much smoother-no dead spots-I'm very glad I had it done at Alfatune.

Glad you're happy, he does do re-maps, I run a few 156 petrol taxis, I've had them mapped not only are they smoother running, we are getting more miles per gallon.
This guy races Alfas, and he has also mapped the family 159 2.4 diesel, it no longer sounds like a tractor when you start up and has loads more grunt, had it done nearly a year ago no problems at all, even my wife's noticed the 159 is better and she wouldn't notice if the sky fell in!
